By the time you’re reading this, I’ll be on my way to Las Vegas. I’ve been planning to celebrate my birthday in Las Vegas all year and finally I’m on my way! I’ve always enjoyed Las Vegas, despite not being a gambler. I enjoy the shows, the food and the nice hotels a lot.
The only thing that makes me sad is the fact that the Star Trek Experience is no longer around. I got to go once and it was magical. I wish I could go back, but that looks like it will never be possible (despite the fact that for awhile they kept trying to bring it back at a different location). I’m still upset with the Hilton for shutting them down.
The last time I was in Vegas I got to see a show I dreamt of seeing live since I was a very young girl … The Donny and Marie Osmond show. I was thrilled and it was worth every penny. They were both amazing and still have so much energy for their age (I believe they are both in their 50s).
My favorite part is always staying in a fancy hotel, and feeling like a princess. The higher end places really know how to do customer service and seem to do whatever they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable. It’s just a short little get-away but it’s always relaxing to have someone else cook and clean for you.
Have you ever been to Vegas? What’s your favorite part?
